FAQ’s about Online Therapy Across the U.S. with a Psychologist in Charleston SC

What is your fee?

My fee is $275 per hour.

Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider for most PPO plans. My focus is on providing quality care and facilitating great outcomes, not on insurance billing. How much my services will cost you depends on your insurance. It can vary greatly from plan-to-plan. My clients pay me in full after each session, then I send them a special itemized receipt (called a 'superbill'), which they can submit to their insurance company for reimbursement, based on their out-of-network benefits. Many of my clients use Reimbursify (reimbursify.com) to make that process a whole lot easier. It’s seamless, entirely digital, and the clients who use it report getting reimbursed anywhere from 20% to 80% of my fee.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

My practice is 100% online. I offer telehealth sessions exclusively, using a secure, HIPAA-compliant videoconferencing platform. This means your therapy is conveniently located wherever you are!

How often will I need to see you?

I meet with clients weekly, at least at the beginning. This is to facilitate progress as we work toward their goals. Once they feel like significant, meaningful progress has been made, we may decide to meet less frequently.

How long does therapy take?

The average person takes anywhere from 4 to 9 months to reach and maintain their optimal level of wellness, although some people need more time, and some need less.
